Sooo Blessed

We are so incredibly blessed! This weekend we had a great family day with Dad home all day...woo hoo! It was Abigail's first trip to the pool....and she of course slept the entire time in the shade. This precious girl of ours is a sleeper...last night she slept the entire night! Seriously spoiling me rotten with sleep...loving that! Carson and Andrew much enjoyed the afternoon at the pool...Andrew was a little fish swimming all over the pool not really playing in the splash part at all. We have officially entered the world of technology this week...we have traded in our 6 year old cell phones for Iphones! An Iphone is the newest technology for cell phones these days...all I can say is that it is amazing...simply amazing! I do feel very overwhelmed with learning all the new things that it does but I fell so blessed to have one...the things that I have used and know that it can do so far are only but the beginning I am told of the things that it can actually do. Here is what I know: (mostly this part is for my Grandmommie...we are always talking about how amazing technology is getting) I can connect to the Internet anytime, anywhere, It has a calendar (yes, I know this is probably strange but this is my favorite thing :) that tells me what all is going on that day, month, year, I can bank on my phone anytime, anywhere, I can see the weather report (Uncle Jay would just love this :) anywhere around the world, It has a checkbook application where I can keep all that in my phone, It has a calculator, It has a GPS system where I can get directions anywhere, it has a camera, it can play music (I can get songs that I like and download them to my phone to play with some headphones if I so desire), It can tell me the prices of stocks (if I wanted to know), It has a bible...I can read or look up scripture anytime I want to with my phone, It tells me when I have received an email and I can read it and reply to it using my phone....okay that is really all I know so far! :) All I can say is amazing that a little phone can do all this and soo much more....Oh and did I mention we got Cushing phone numbers! We also signed all of our papers on the rental home on Friday that is officially closing on Monday at 3pm....Blessed...truly Blessed! Thank you Jesus!

Sticker Fun

The Culprits Mugshot

So I was drying my hair yesterday with Abigail in her swing when Andrew came in carrying a book. I thought "Oh how sweet, he is going to read to Abigail"...So the next time I turned around Abigail had started to fuss and this is how I found her.....she had been stickered! Andrew said, "Look Mommy, she likes it." I just laughed not sure that Abigail's face indicated that she liked it at all...and the cry...he even put a huge sticker on her cheek...silly Andrew!

Where in the world is Cushing, Oklahoma?

Cushing Regional Hospital

Where in the World is Cushing, Oklahoma?
Cushing is located at 35°58′57″N 96°45′51″W / 35.9825°N 96.76417°W / 35.9825; -96.76417 (35.982628, -96.764171). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.6 square miles (19.8 km²), of which, 7.6 square miles (19.8 km²) is land and 0.13% is water.
That is the technical address....more practically it is 45 minutes west of Tulsa, 60 minutes north-east from Oklahoma City and 20 minutes south-east of Stillwater. It has a population of around 9,000. Cushing is a major hub in oil supply connecting the
Gulf Coast suppliers with northern consumers. Cushing is famous as a price settlement point for West Texas Intermediate on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and has been cited as the most significant trading hub for crude oil in North America. As of 2007, Cushing holds 5% to 10% of the total U.S. crude inventory. Signs made of a pipe and valve on the major highways near town proclaim Cushing to be the "Pipeline Crossroads of the World", and the town is surrounded by several tank farms.

Just a little information on Cushing, Oklahoma. Our family met with the CEO and several doctors and thier wives last night for dinner. They were able to get to know us and ask us many questions and we in turn were able to ask them questions, advice and get thier overall impression of Cushing in general along with information about the hospital employment and such. It was a great night! The couple that we got to spend the most time with was Dr & Mrs. Pyles. What a blessing they were! In a short time we found out so much about thier mission field in Cushing, OK. They are members of 1st Baptist Cushing! We were able to share so much of our heart and mission with them....they are actually without a pastor now and were joking with us that if we know anyone to suggest we might have a vested interest in who they bring in in the next year! How exciting! I wonder what new church family the Lord will have for us in the year to come. After this meeting, Dustin and I both felt confirmed that Cushing, OK is definately where God has called us to call "home". We are so excited about the opportunity and the medical family that he has placed in this town and look forward to serving Him in it! Funny story....so I was praying with the boys the past week and have been trying to explain to them about Cushing and going there and meeting people this week...Carson has really grasped onto this. My friend Candace was here with her little girls on Tuesday and Carson told Candace that we were moving to Cushing on Wednesday! :) He has been so excited about the details that would entail...he has told me "Mommy, we need a house in Cushing." "Mommy, how many doors will we have in our new house?".....and so on.....He was so excited and had such a good time that he actually threw a huge fit when we got in the car to come home. He did not want to go back to Tulsa. We actually had to pull over the car to settle him down on the way back.....he wanted to stay and play in Cushing :) One verse that has been coming back to me time and time again this past month...."Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4.....He knows the desires of my heart because as I spend more and more time with him he places them there....our desire to live and serve in a small town to make a difference for Him there! We are so excited to know finally what His plans for our family are. We have already recieved word from the CEO in Cushing this morning that they loved us and think that we would be a perfect fit with them and they are ready to move forward and start negotiations...Praise Him! Sometimes I am truly overwelmed by His goodness....how perfect his timing is....truly, what an awesome God we serve! As much as I have peace and assurance that this is where God is placing us I am also a little sad that we will not be close to the dear family that we would have had so close to Enid, the other town that we were praying about. But we will trust in Him and his plan for our family.....thank you for praying for us during this time! Bless you dear friends and family for lifting us up on prayer. What a blessing you are! Praising Him! -The Cupp Crew

A Little Prissy

This outfit is a sweet little prissy thing that two girls in the girl's minsitry at church bought for Abigail! We thought she was super cute in it! Today is a free day is you haven't noticed...thier are 4 new posts today!! We have absolutely nothing scheduled to do today....actually it is 11 o'clock and we are all still in our pj's..Woo Hoo!! The past week has been kind of crazy with appointments and such and trying to get all close to finalization on the contract of the rent house, but today....today is a free day!! So excited to spend it just loving on the boys and the little girl and catching up on laundry too...it is inenvitable! I hope and pray that you have a great day too!!

Carson Wayne Cupp is turning 5!!

Can you believe it? We can hardley believe that our baby boy Carson Wayne is turning 5 in just a few weeks. He decided that he wanted a Zoo party with water and blue and green....so we are having a ZOOFARI Splash Party! He helped order all the party stuff and was super excited when it all came in yesterday. He also insisted on writing all the names on the invitations this year...I kept telling him he could take a break, I am sure that his hand was getting tired from writing...but he was relentless and kept saying, "Okay, Mommy who is next?" I absolutley loved sitting with him and making his list of guests to invite. It was fun to show Daddy all of his invitations with names on them, Daddy laughed, some of them are like puzzles to figure out who they were to go to :) How precious! Carson was so very proud of himself. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with such a special boy and are so excited to see what plans He has in store for Carson in the years to come....what a precious gift, We love Carson Wayne!

A Smile for Daddy

Tomarrow Abigail will be 8 weeks old...my, how it has gone by so quickly! She is now cooing and smiling which is really fun! This weekend she smiled really big at Daddy for the first time and completely melted his heart, I think there was actually a tear shed from her Daddy. What a joy she is!

Our Furry Children

Of all these pictures of our kidos I decided that our furry children, Gracie & Eddie, needed
a post of thier own. These pups turned 9 this year! They are still very hyper active and ready to play ball at any given moment....we thought they would settle down and be more calm after 2 years, but this indeed was not the case. They love for the boys to come outside and play. Carson is always getting mad at Gracie for kissing him so much...she is such a lover! Eddie is still pretty dopey...He has always been our Special Ed dog for sure. You can tell from the pictures that they are really greying, but so are Dustin and I...alot has happened with the Cupp Crew in these short 9 years :)

Andrew, Abigail and I joined Carson for his last day of school. Andrew was so very excited...he has asked to go to school with Carsi just about everyday...they had a super fun outside wet play day...I just hope Andrew doesn't think all you do in school is play! :)
