Praise the LORD!!!

This past week has been CRAZY!!! I found out on tuesday that our entire neighborhood was having a garage sale on saturday.....so I got to working and quickly! I cleaned out the entire attic and sent an email out to friends to let them know we would be having a garage sale in 4 days to raise money for our Mission Trip to Honduras!!! Boy, what hard work it ended up being but the Lord blessed us with over $700!! Praise the LORD!! Now, we are able to buy our passports for our entire family for this trip! We are so excited to be going in March. The boys ask almost everyday now when we are going! So excited to serve the Lord in Honduras with our dear friends the Tumlisons!!!!

Just a little SUGAR!!

Sugars from Abby Ruth!

IHOP

Last weekend we all went to Kansas City, MO with Dustin's entire residency class to a place called IHOP: International House of Prayer. I was a little worried about traveling so far with three small kidos and how friendly it would be for families to be able to spend time together during the retreat but I would have to say that it was an amazing weekend! IHOP was an amazing place where God is truly moving! It is a non-demoninational house of prayer that has been open for 10 years now and it is open 24 hours a day/7 days a week. It was really a neat time. If you are ever in Kansas City, please make a point of stopping by IHOP and praying with your family. You won't regret it! The weekend was a great time of refreshing our walk with the Lord. It was a time where God gave us an even greater vision for our calling to serve in Cushing. What a precious, precious time! The fun family time that we had is pictured above. I found a free place to take the kids for an afternoon. It is called Deanna's Famstead in Overland Park, KS. It was a super grand time! They boys got to milk a cow, pan for gold, feed the goats, play in a tee-pee, ride ponies, fish and play! Fun times!

This isn't a very good picture of the skirt, but it is officially my new favorite thing to make!! Sissy's Skirts!! Too Fun! And of course you just have to love the tongue face smile!

The Girls Playdate: Abby Ruth & Jane Abby

The little girl's first playdate together!! A couple of weeks ago my good friend Christina Buckwalter and her family came to town and we were able to introduce our daughters to each other! How precious! I made them matching skirts for the occasion! Christina was my roomate in college at OSU. She and her family now live in Johnstown, PA. It was such a blessing to get to see them and love on them! The girls just loved each other. Jane Abby kept kissing all over Abby Ruth. I am not sure Abby Ruth knew exactly what to do!

Growing like a weed!

Oh my stars it has been almost a month since I posted....and look just look at this little girl...she is truly growing like a weed! She is now 5 months old!! Seriously, so hard to believe! This is her new tongue that she loves...she looks like this 90% of the time...it is soo funny. She went through her 3-6 month clothes in about three weeks and is now officially a chunky little one! She weighs 16 pounds and is in the 90th percentile for her weight and height! She is a pure delight and so very fun! She loves to sing!! It is one of our favorite things to listen to. She loves her brothers so very much and is always laughing at them and trying to see where they are and what they are doing!! This past week I rearranged all of the baby clothes and was amazed to see how big Andrew Maddox is getting!! He will be 4 in March and is already in 4T clothes! I guess he will be wearing close to a 5T next spring! Oh how I enjoy naptime with Andrew Maddox, we get to read books and sing songs and cuddle until he drifts off to sleep....what a precious time with him. He is a funny guy...the other day we were walking out of Walmart and he saw a plane getting ready to land and he said "Look, Mommy that plane is going to roller skate!" Ha! He is our little goober, for sure. Carson is our little sensitive spirit still and has for some reason reverted back to pottying in his bed again after conquering that for over a year.....a little frustrating for sure. He is really enjoying school and has been doing a wonderful job in asking questions and praying during our family devotions in the evenings. That is one of the boys' favorite things to do these days, pray. They love to pray and bless our meals which is just truly one of the best things to hear them be so thankful and pray for others. Love that! We thank the Lord that they love talking to Jesus!
