Well!!
So, Carson came down with a nasty cold last weekend and after much separation and isolation and tying to keep the toys all sanitized....all three monkeys got this nasty cold! I was just thanking the Lord the week before about how wonderful the winter months had been because our children have been well all winter....and then they got the cold. Eight days later Abigail Ruth, the last one to get it, had a great day. Of course, they still have the yucky cough and snotty noses but they are Well!!...Praise the Lord!! Andrew and I took Abigail to the doctor today for her 9 month check up and she is a whooping 17.6 pounds....she gained 2 ounces in 3 months!! She does not like baby food. Occasionally we can get her to eat 3-4 spoons of it but then she refuses...I have never seen a baby use the clamped down jaw and hit away a spoon with yummy baby food on it.....silly girl! She is so little. Not crawling yet, she does lunge a little to get toys that are out of reach but she really doesn't have the whole crawling thing down yet at all....which Mommy thinks is really okay. I love the extra time of her sitting and playing...and staying in one place! :) She is a jabber-jaws....she loves to "talk". Her favorite words right now are Dada and Mama. I am just itching to get her 9 month pictures done so they may be coming soon! 35 Days till Honduras!! We are thrilled and so excited to go and serve alongside our friends, The Tumlisons. As we get closer and closer the boys are starting to ask all kinds of questions like "Where will we sleep?" "What do they have to eat there?" "Will we understand them?" (Carson is really worried that he doesn't know enough spanish... :) ) We learned that the little community that our friends live in have dug a huge hole and nailed a tarp down so the children can jump on the "trampoline"....the boys are super excited about this! Should be interesting! I wonder what the Lord has in store......praying that we continue to stay Well until then!!

Andrew Maddox's Birthday Invitation

I know it is a little early, but Andrew "helped" me make his invitation this year and he was super excited to print it out and post for all of his friends to see. He insisted on orange and it was again to be a choo choo party. (the third choo choo birthday party so far) This year for his party we are doing low maitnance and having it at Chuck E. Cheese's instead of in our small rental home. Should be fun! Come and join us if you can as we celebrate Andrew Maddox Cupp!!

Because He is faithful..
Hi Friends and Family,
We just wanted to let you all know that we got some sad news this past week from our doctor. The baby was not developing properly and will not be able to be carried to term. We expect to miscarry this little one soon. We are sad but filled with His mercy and His peace, confident that He knows the plans for our family as we continue to seek Him and trust Him. Thank you for praying for us! God is so good and we are so blessed by Him!
Because He is faithful,
The Cupp Crew
"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so." Psalm 107:1-2

Remembering God is faithful....
“When I am most afraid, I put my trust in you… ” (Psalm 56:3).
I feel compelled to blog tonight, so here goes. I want to always be able to remember how faithful the Lord has been to us and in effort to do that I feel like I should make sure to blog what is going on no matter how hard things may be or seem at the time. Last Friday I had a very small amount of spotting. Not a welcome sight at all. I immeadiately sent an email and text for reinforcements from my prayer warriors to cover this baby in prayer. It brought back so many memories of our miscarriage 2 years ago. I found myself scared at first then filled with trust that He is in control of all things and felt truly graced with His peace. I know that the experience of losing a baby has made me more grateful and intentional each day of my subsequent pregnancies (Abigail and now the new baby) to pray alot for them as they grow and develop. This baby in particular because I have not been as sick as I was with all three of my children, however I am still breastfeeding which some say can play into that role. Whatever the case, this is the verse that the Lord has given me. "When I am most afraid, I will put my trust in you..." I have had no further spotting and my blood work came back good so that is great. We will see our OBGYN in Cushing on friday to check on the little munchkin and see how they are doing. Today. Today I received word that some friends of ours that were 12 weeks pregnant went in for a routine prenatal visit and found out that their new baby was without a heartbeat. So devastating. They are devastated. I remember it so well. Tears of sadness just overwhelmed me for their loss and the fact that they still had to tell their two boys about the loss of the baby. I remember it so well. I remember the heartbreak but I also remember how God quieted our tears and rejoiced over us (Zeph 3:17). How he gave us grace, peace and mercy through the hardest of times. He is soo worthy of our trust and of our praise in all circumstances in our lives because He is constantly faithful! I am grieving for our friends loss. I am thankful to the Lord that He has given us a heart to minister to them that we never would have been able to experience if we hadn't have been through that before. Please join us in praying for this precious family as they draw near to Him and to each other in this difficult time as we all continue to trust in Him.

When I am twenty...
This is mostly for me so that I will remember how funny Carson is: So we were sitting at the dinner table having dinner and out of the blue Carson tells Me, "Mommy, when I am twenty I have to get married....but I don't want to get married, I just want to be in this family forever!" What a neat time to reassure him that God had blessed us with him by placing him in our family and that He would be in our family forever no matter what! We also talked about how being married is not something he needed to worry about right now...... :) What a sweet little thinker he is. I am not sure where this came from. During the discussion he did ask how old Daddy and I were when we got married, which was twenty, but he didn't know that before. I wonder what God has in store for this little sensitive spirited boy of mine....
Bathtime! Bathtime! Bathtime!
Praise the Lord that this little girl of ours has finally decided that she like bathtime. We had a very rough couple of months when she threw huge screaming fits in the bath....how silly! Now, as you can tell she is enjoying them again. I love her crazy hair...it is getting sooo long! It is so hard to believe that she will be 9 months old next week! What a sweet little thing she is. This week she started saying Mama! Love that! She is a little prissy miss. She is not crawling yet. She would much rather just sit and play and occasionally lunge to get a toy that is a little out of her range. She is pulling up a little on things. She has decided that she is not having baby food! Why? This really bothers me. She just closes tight her mouth and refuses to eat. Hopefully she will grow out of this too and soon! Abigail is a whopping 18 lbs and still wearing 6-9 months close, she is such a little bird with the smallest baby feet I have ever seen. She is still wearing 0-6 months shoes! Her favorite thing these days is PAPER....any kind of paper that she can get her hands on. Yes, not good. I don't know where she finds it sometimes but she comes up with it and gets sooo excited! Silly little thing she is! I am so blessed that she is such a happy easy baby! Thank you Lord, for sweet Abigail Ruth!!
