Sweet little moments

Sometimes I just love to watch my girls. Abby told Claire to take her hand and she would protect her in the parking lot as we were leaving Kroger. I sure love these sweet moments in life.

I am not sure why personalized bags are so cute...maybe its just a girl thing! I saw these on etsy and knew my girls would love them and....they did!

We have seen a gander of wild turkeys coming down from the forest! Too fun!

Project 9: Scripture for Formal Dining

Well, after I got my cute little kids pictures up on the wall two months ago I have been wanting this scripture above them. I had a hard time deciding what colors to do it in and and hadn't quite decided what the wall color was going to be. I finally decided on a yellow for the walls to be accented with a berry red color. I'm debating on painting the slant in the ceiling the berry color as well. I think it would be perfect if it's just not too dark. Anyway another project down.

If you haven't heard of uppercase living.com...check it out! I created this scripture myself using thier custom design tool. You can choose fonts, sizing, colors, ect. It is such a fun creative way to decorate your home! I just love it!

I also got a huge bargain at Lowes today on clearance tiles. I found some 18x18 tiles for a project yet to come: the boys bathroom. They were $.69!!! Originally $5.69. I bought 13 tiles for $9.97. What a steal! I can't wait to see how that turns out! And yes, I will be hiring that job out! :)

561 Hickory Drive is...

...officially ours. Truly a miracle. The Lord provided a way where there seemed no way. We closed on the house today. Our loan officer at the bank told us that with the difficulties of the title it very well could have taken 6 months to close. We believe the Lord is in complete control, going before us, the God of Angel armies is always by our side! We are so thankful. A bit overwhelmed. God is continuing to teach us and stretch us. We are ready Lord! Here we go!  

Antiques Fun!

I met Margie at the convention center today for our town antiques show...I found a couple of steals! A tea set for the girls for $10 and a brass chandelier I am going to spray paint for $30! It was fun to get out for a short while and look at all the fun things. It is snowing here today...large snow flurries...it feels like we are living in a snow globe...it is so very beautiful!

My, how seven years has gone by too quickly! Daddy is working today and it is snowing so we are going to have an inside play day celebrating our little Scooby Dooby Drew!
