Yesterday we accomplished a lot for the little girls. I was able to finish both quilt tops for their beds and 4 pretty pillowcases with pockets for their books! Too fun! We will take the tops of the quilts, the material for the backing and binding to the local quilt store tomorrow!

Abby Funnies
Roo just came into our room (after she has been in bed 45 minutes) and said, "Mommy, my tummy is rumbling. I think it needs some food."
I told her it was too late and she needed to get back in bed. She proceeded to say,"Well, could you give me something for my ears so I don't hear my belly rumbling?...It's keeping me awake and I can't sleep."
Seriously. Such a funny girl.

The Best Job Ever.
Just a bit of reading during home school yesterday and somebody took a rest. I really do have the best job ever. For these precious moments I am so thankful.

Abby Drama
Just a couple of funnies to remember from Abby Ruth:
This week we worked on drawing a few new letters.
Abby drew an X for the first time and exclaimed,
"I JUST DREW AN X...MY FIRST X..AHHHHHH!!!"
When Dustin came home yesterday and walked through the door she saw him first and ran to him saying "I just loooooooooove you!!" and then threw herself into him. He laughed and fell back on the floor.
"God did not make me to like blueberries or pepperonis!"
"Gotta put my makeup on like the cheerleaders so I will be ready for the chicken dance!" -Headed to the MSU Basketball game
Lots a drama from that little princess!
Little Lefty
Looks like this little girl may just be a lefty like her brother Carson. I looked over during our school time and saw this. It was too precious not to capture and remember. She wants to be just a big as the other kids. I can't believe she will be three in a couple of weeks. So amazing how quickly she has grown. She is still tiny but she is mighty in spirit! Sure do love this little lefty.

A New Work
One thing I have missed from our season in Cushing is sharing God's word and growing together with a group of ladies. This month a new work began and I am so excited to see all that God is going to do. I invited 8 women to start with me in an 8 week bible study called The Chase by Jennie Allen on Thursday nights in my home. Small. Deep. Real. Bible Study. It is such an honor and privilege really to be able to meet together, share life, and grow together as believers. I love to see the ladies and how the Lord has weaved them into my life so intentionally this past year. What great things He has in store for us all as He molds us and draws us closer to Him. James 4:8 "Draw near to the Lord and He will draw near to you."
Memories, light the corners of our minds....
Today was a very fun day. After Christmas I finally ordered our family blog in the form of a book. Five years of stories and pictures in a book for our family.
Well, two books to be exact. Five years! Wow. Blessed. Blessed. Blessed.
Precious memories to remember and one made tonight as I watched these boys comb over the pages and talk about each picture as they smiled, laughed and asked questions. Sometimes blogging is so hard for me to find the time to do it but tonight I really understood the importance. I (we, really) received the blessing of remembering how good the Lord has been to us. "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever." Psalm 107:1
Date with Daddy
Daddy took Abby on a date to the MSU Basketball game. Daddy was covering the game and helping with the team and invited Abby to go and be his date. She. Was. Thrilled! She is a Daddy's girl these days. I love how her name is so fitting for her...Abigail means my Father's joy. I know she is such a joy not only to her Daddy but also her Heavenly Father! The highlight of the night was the chicken dance at half-time and all the snuggles with Dad. What a fun night!

It's a Wrap
We wrapped up 2013 with a trip back to Oklahoma for Christmas. A fun time was had by all. Claire loved the tea party at cousin Lizzie's.
Here's my guy with the plan...I printed him off a map from Kentucky to Oklahoma so he would know the exact route and the exact stops! He got to go with Papa to see the OKC thunder play so he was decked out here below in all of his THUNDERWEAR!
Classic Christmas picture with the Montgomery cousins: 2 crying and a funny face.
Making a cake for Jesus is always fun!
A very special treat was getting to briefly see my good friend Cory Lynne at the Thunder game. Her husband Aaron prayed before the the game. What a blessing special friends are.
I posted this picture on Facebook and someone commented: "Mimi and her mini Mimis". I thought that was so funny and fitting!
These girls had lots of fun hanging out. They love cousin "Wizzie"
Cousins Landon and Savannah were expecting baby Liam while we were visiting so we all chipped in quarter to make a guess as to when he would be born. Abby won the $2.25!!
First stop traveling to Oklahoma was Braum's and unfortunately it was not awesome.
The lady at the gas station did not ask but proceeded to hand all of our children balloon for the rest of the 6 hour ride to OKC...oh my!
We took Grandmommie to Tulsa to see baby Liam!
We had such a fun time seeing family and a few friends too as we celebrated the birth of Jesus. It seemed only fitting as we were driving back to Kentucky that we realized that it happened to be the same day exactly a year ago that we were also traveling for the first time to make our home in Kentucky. A year has gone by and we continue to find ourselves filled with wonder in what He has done, is doing, and will do in the days to come! The best thing for The Cupp Crew for 2013 was obeying the Lord and moving to Kentucky. We have had so much more time with Dustin being home this year. That has been a beautiful gift to us. We have grown together as a family and in our walk with the Lord. We have tasted and seen that the Lord is good even in times of change, uncertainly and struggle. We have walked by faith and not by sight this year and we can confidently say there is great abundance and blessing in trusting and obeying wherever the Lord leads. He has given us the desires of our heart to serve him overseas in Haiti this year. God placed us where He could use us. Dustin has been twice this year and I was able to join him in October. We are hoping to be back again to serve there at the Hands and Feet Project again in April and October of 2014. Walking with the Lord is such a wonderful adventure! He alone is worthy! Happy New Year!
