The Countdown has begun: 30 days!!!

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you." Matthew 6:33
A Picture of our new home..yes, folks it has orange stone!!
Picture of the "shop" that is at the back of the first 2.5 acres. The shop is only studded out at this point but is plumbed for a bathroom, washer/dryer. Upstairs it has guest accomadations with a bedroom and a kitchen/living combo layout...on the right side where you can see the fencing there is a cabana area for the pool.

"If you build it....they will come!" Here is a picture of the back 2.5 acres where Dustin and his buddies have plans to build a baseball field.

"The Parking Lot" That is what we call this area inbetween the pool fencing and the field of dreams. It will be the perfect spot for people to park to come and fellowship at the pool or during baseball practice!

And yes, we have a perfect view of some oil tankers...this is a Cushing thing. They are everywhere.

The Living Room

My monkeys posing for the pic! The upstairs to Mommy & Daddy's room.

Another View of the living room.

The Kitchen. Love the wallpaper? I did not. It has already been removed and we are having it texture and painted this coming week.....guess what color.....well it is faded clay (but very close to a spice orange! Yes, orange!) I can't wait to see it completed

Oh, Abby Ruth....everthing goes into her mouth!

My silly tootie-toot!

Just look at this cutie patootie...pooped out!

The Countdown has officially begun....30 days till we close on our new home in Cushing! This whole process has been soo neat and we continue to see God's favor in so many areas during the process of buying this home. Working with the seller and the seller's realtor has been a wondrful experience. The seller of the home lost her husband a year and a half ago and has had this home on the market since then. It has been such a trying time for her as she has been grieving and waiting on the Lord to restore her. God has given me such a sensitive heart for her. Just walking in the home last October, when we started our search, you could just tell the people that lived there were planning on being there for a long time growing old together. The improvements and renevations were done with great care and taste. My heart just broke as we found out the story about how she had suddenly lost her husband. I found myself just praying for her and a buyer for her home, believing at that time that this was probably not our home that God had prepared for us in Cushing. It had waaay too much. Almost 5 acres, pool, hot tub, huge dec, shop....ect, ect. It was also an older home built in 1949 and we were unsure as to if we wanted to purchase something that old at the time. What a blessing it has been as we have prayed so dilligently over this process and have complete peace that this home is in fact the home that God has prepared for us.....we fell soo very blessed! God has also made a way for us to minister to and bless this widow during the past few months. We have been going on the weekends and doing the landscaping and mowing for her so she hasn't had to worry about it. Soooo on that note....5 acres is alot of land to mow! Wowzers....The boys loved helping Dad on the John Deere riding lawn mower (that is now his...Daddy's first tractor!) And the flowerbeds....I have never seen so many flowerbeds to tend to! God has given us a wonderful home that just screams ministry to me. The backyard is a wonderful entertaining area that could probably hold 300 people easily and comfortably. It is just beautiful with a huge deck off the back of the house with a hot tub and then the pool (gated) at the back of the yard. We can hardley wait to use it to minister to the people of Cushing! Our prayer is that this home would be used to bring Him glory and to bring people closer to Him!! This week we have a new friend from our church here in Tulsa that is taking down popcorn ceilings, re-texturing and painting....and painting the kitchen spice orange!!! Yay! Can't wait to see that! I have been taking the boys to Cushing one night a week for tee ball practice. Both of their teams have practice 3 times a week.....wow! Really? Why do 4 and 5 year olds need to practice 3 times a week? Well needless to say this Mom is not driving to Cushing 3 times a week for practice, 1 night a week will have to do! :) We have had fun though with little projects at the new house, dinner, playing at the park and then tee ball practice. Oh and their practice time is 7:30-8:45....hmmm, bedtime for the Cupp Crew is 8pm. Andrew has been extreamly tired as the practice nears to an end most nights....why? It is waaaay past his bedtime!! I think this has been another motivating point for Dustin to get his baseball field built....If he has his own field, he can schedule practice any time he wants to! :) Well that is what is up with us. We are doing well, growing in the Lord, and very much looking forward to seeing what God has in store. Mission Field: Cushing, OK.....30 days and counting!!!! God bless you all!

P.S. Sorry there are not more pics of the inside of the house...if you are curious you will just have to make a point and come and see us in Cushing so we can share with you what the Lord has done! :)
