Please pray for Katie...

Dear Friends and Family,
I would like to ask for you to pray for a sweet girl in our girl's ministry at church, Katie. This past week she has been diagnosed with acustic neuroma (they found a tumor in her brain basically behind her ear the size of a golf ball). Praise the Lord that the tumor is benign! She will undergo surgery this coming Tuesday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Please lift her and her family up this week in prayer if you would. Thier specific prayers are that Katie would be healed either miraculously or by the skilled hands of the surgeon, that she would have no facial nerve damage and that the tumor does not effect the spinal cord. Katie is such a beautiful young lady who loves the Lord with all of her heart! She has been such a delight in watching her grow in the Lord this last year in the girl's ministry...please pray for her dear family that God may be glorified and that they may be comforted during this difficult time!
